Wetumpka Impact Crater Presentation

Special guest lecturer Dr. David King of the Auburn University Department of Geology will give a presentation about the Wetumpka impact crater

Wetumpka Impact Crater Tours

The annual Wetumpka Impact Crater Tour will take place on Saturday, Feb. 25 with tours beginning at 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. If you have never been on this tour, you will be amazed at massive size and beautiful natural features of the crater. Space is limited, so make your reservations now. The cost for the tour is $10 for TOLA members and $20 for non-members ($10 for children aged 6-15). The tour is not recommended for younger children.

Van transportation will be provided from the Old Post Office in downtown Wetumpka for a two-hour guided tour of the crater area. For more information, please contact the Wetumpka Chamber of Commerce at 334-567-4811.
