MISSION
It is the mission of TOLA to develop trails based on local historic lore and fact while preserving the beauty and resources of Alabama through promotion of its natural features. In addition, TOLA wishes to provide an atmosphere that encourages family and community fun through education and recreation opportunities while at the same time showcase Alabama's beauty to its visitors.

TOLA's mainstay trail is the Swayback Bridge Trail north of Wetumpka on the shores of Lake Jordan. 12 Miles of Hiking/Biking enjoyment for the local community. Visit our "Swayback Maps" page or how about our "Virtual Tour of Swayback" to get a feel for what we have to offer the outdoor enthusiast.

Membership Opportunities & Services
Individual and family membership in the Trail of Legends Association, Inc. (TOLA) is greatly needed and encouraged. Your participation and membership dues are vital to the success of the trail system in Alabama.
As members, you will receive a quarterly newsletter keeping you up to date on ongoing projects and special events.
A wide range of participation opportunities exist in “TOLA”. You may be interested in volunteering to help with the completion or extension of existing trail projects or you may want to assist in planning and construction of new trails.
In addition to participation opportunities, you also will receive preferred rates on all association-sponsored events that are opened to the public.
