Dirty Dog Events

History of DDE

Dirty Dog Events was formed in 2003 to design, produce and promote outdoor events in the River Region of Central Alabama.  DDE was founded as a not for profit and all funds raised from events are used to develop and maintain trails and rivers. 

The current DDE race calendar includes:

• RiverFest 5k and 1Mile fun run - August, 14 2005  - Wetumpka
• Coosa River Challenge - September 17, 2005        - Wetumpka
• Attack on Swayback (Mtn Bike) - October 2005     - Wetumpka
• 12K's of Christmas/5K - December 2005                - Wetumpka
