A bit of History about the Attack on Swayback         Virtual tour

In November 2002 a new, local event was born in Wetumpka, Alabama: TOLA's annual "Attack on Swayback" mountain bike race. The goal of this race is not only to draw mountain biking enthusiasts from all over the southeast but also to encourage community involvement in central Alabama's abundant outdoor treasures.

The challenging 12 +  miles of trail winds its way through dense forest and along the steep banks of Lake Jordan. The course consists mostly of well groomed singletrack with fire road and power line sections. The terrain varies from rocky, tight singletrack  to all-out big ring sections.
